Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) announced the list of 2025 Excellent-level Smart Factory projects. Nine entities from Shaanxi Province were successfully selected, with Fast Intelligent Braking Co., Ltd. among them.

As a wholly-owned subsidiary of Fast Group and China's largest production base for hydraulic retarders, Fast Intelligent Braking Co., Ltd. has taken digital transformation as its core strategy since its establishment in 2018. Relying on the industrial Internet platform, it has deeply integrated multiple digital systems such as ERP, MES and PLM, and built an integrated intelligent system covering the entire process of R&D and design, production and manufacturing, quality control, and logistics and distribution. By overcoming key technical difficulties in visual defect detection and intelligent logistics transfer, it has achieved comprehensive breakthroughs in digital process design, networked manufacturing equipment, automated production processes, and intelligent management and control decisions.

In recent years, Fast Intelligent Braking Co., Ltd. has continued to deepen its focus on the field of intelligent manufacturing, introducing a large number of intelligent equipment such as industrial robots and high-end CNC machine tools. The automation rate of its machining production lines exceeds 95% and that of assembly lines exceeds 60%, and it has built a digital and intelligent collaborative smart factory for high-end commercial vehicle retarders. On this basis, the company has always adhered to the upgrading and transformation of production lines. After the upgrade of retarder stator production, only one five-axis turning-milling compound machining center can complete the full-process processing. The production time per unit has been reduced from 30 minutes to 3 minutes, the production capacity has increased by 10 times, the annual per capita output value has risen from 2 million yuan to 10 million yuan, the one-time packing pass rate of products has jumped to over 99%, and the after-sales failure rate has decreased by 80%.

The company has also highly integrated green manufacturing with intelligent manufacturing. Through technologies such as photovoltaic power generation and smart energy management, the energy consumption per unit product has decreased by 10.6%, and carbon emissions have been reduced by 2,400 tons annually, achieving a win-win situation for environmental protection and efficiency. At present, the experience of digital and intelligent integration in its 15 core technology application scenarios has been promoted to the upper and lower reaches of the industrial chain, playing a radiating and driving role.

Last year, six ministries and commissions including the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology jointly organized the gradient cultivation campaign for smart factories. The campaign aims to support enterprises in aligning with their actual development and transformation needs, promote the widespread popularization of basic-level smart factories, construct a number of advanced-level smart factories leading in regional industries on a large scale, select and build a number of domestic leading excellent-level smart factories, explore and cultivate a number of leading-level smart factories with global influence, incubate and form a number of future manufacturing models, and promote the innovative transformation of R&D paradigms, production methods, service systems and organizational structures. It is understood that a total of 274 entities across the country were successfully selected this year, and Fast Intelligent Braking Co., Ltd. is one of them.

This successful selection is a full recognition of Fast Intelligent Braking Co., Ltd. for reaching the national standard level 3 or above in the maturity of intelligent manufacturing capabilities, and also provides technical paths and management experience for the intelligent transformation of the auto parts manufacturing industry.
