On the morning of Sept 16th, at the happy moment of the 50th anniversary of our company, the inauguration ceremony of Fast Baoji medium and light truck manufacturing base was held in a simple and grand way. 

In the joyful Yangge performance, colorful fireworks and joyous sound of gongs and drums, our company leaders Yan Jianbo, Ma Xuyao, Li Yan, Wang Xiuju, Wang Shunli, Chen Bing, Jin Jiangli, Guo Jinfu, Liu Yi, Zhao Yanwen, Zhao Xiaoni jointly cut the ribbon at the ceremony and congratulated the completion of the new base. More than 200 staff representatives and middle-level cadres attended the ceremony.

Mr. Yan Jianbo, the party secretary and chairman of Fast Group, extended warm congratulations on the completion of the base. He said, “The completion of Fast Baoji medium- and light-duty truck transmission manufacturing base is a new milestone in the history of the enterprise’s innovative development and a great gift from all the staff with actual deeds for the 40th anniversary of national reform and opening-up and the 50th anniversary of our company. This is not only an important deployment of the enterprise's high-end positioning, forward-looking layout and in-depth promotion of the 13th five-year development plan and the "5221" strategy, but also a concrete practice of Fast setting out on a new journey, seeking new leaps, creating new highlights and realizing new development.”

Chairman Yan Jianbo stressed that Baoji is the start-up place of the enterprise’s development. It embodies the painstaking efforts and sweat of generations of Fast employees. In recent years, our company has been increasing investment in Baoji plant. The total investment of the project is about 3 billion yuan, and the overall production capacity of 1 million units of light-duty transmissions and new energy transmissions will be built after the completion, with an additional sales revenue of about 6 billion yuan, profit and tax of 485 million yuan, and 1,500 new jobs will be created. Along with new project completed and put into operation, the manufacturing base will stride towards the era of billions and become a new high land of the company for the innovative development of medium-and light-duty transmissions, bus transmissions, castings, etc.    during the 13th Five-Year Period (2016-2020). This not only has an important and far-reaching significance to optimize the market layout, but also accelerate the conversion from old energy to new energy and speed up high-end oriented development of auto industry. At the same time, it will provide an important support to overstep the local economy of Baoji city and for the industry strategy of 3 million vehicles in Shaanxi province.   

Chairman Yan Jianbo called on the staff, guided by Xi Jinping thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new ear, to firmly seize the important period of strategic opportunity of “the Belt and Road” and the "Made in China 2025" plan, give full play to the enterprise advantages of technical innovation, market dominance and brand competition, and give priority to development and innovation to speed up the pace of technical innovation and the transformation of industrial achievements unceasingly. We are planning to build the medium- and light-duty transmission project to be a new engine to lead the company’s transformation and upgrading and promote the rapid development of automobile industry of Shaanxi province, and make a greater contribution to the grand ideal of a century-old company and the strategy of an automobile power.      

General manager Ma Xuyao presided over the ceremony and introduced Baoji medium-and light-duty transmission manufacturing base. He said, “The base is located in the automobile industrial park of high-tech zone of Baoji city, covering a total area of 500 Chinese Mu. The new base was built as per the standard of green environmental protection, intelligent production and intelligent logistics. As of today, the infrastructure construction of phase 1 joint workshop, R&D building, staff dormitory building, comprehensive building, factory roads, water supply and drainage, electricity, greening and lighting have been completed after ten months of construction, with the total construction area of 41,751 square meters.” After the ceremony, the company leaders took a group photo with the performers of gong and drum team and Yangko team in the new base and visited the R&D building and joint workshop.
